Suzanne
Tullis Gardner is an art instructor at Tahoma High School in
Maple Valley, Washington. Ms. Gardner teaches a variety of classes in
studio art, and ceramics and sculpture. Suzanne is a member of the National
Art Education Association, the Washington Arts Educators Association,
and the Maple Valley Community Arts Council. She received her undergraduate
degree from the University of Oregon and her Masters degree from City
University. She has exhibited in a number of local shows as well as
in Coronado, California and in Ogden, Utah. Suzanne carries her camera
whenever she travels and her work represents where she visits in acrylic,
watercolor or in mixed media. Ms. Gardner also enjoys a playful use
of familiar objects combined to create other forms such as the human
figure. Her ceramics and sculptures reflect traditional forms as well
as non-traditional in Raku and the use of underglazing techniques
