Jill
Drllevich
Jill Drllevich has worked in arts and community projects for over 30 years, from
bringing art to underprivileged neighborhoods in NYC to rural/suburban
public-private sector collaboration in the Puget Sound area. As a 5th
& 6th grade teacher, Jill’s classroom environment has been
a full participation artistic masterpiece in itself, reflecting the
period, accoutrements and the activities of whatever the class is studying.
Jill is a “connector,” bringing fine and performing artists
in contact with the those young and young at heart who come to her for
inspiration. Not only does Jill have a Masters in Education, specializing
in community partnerships for the arts, she has many times a masters
investment in her own self-designed learning in the fine and performing
arts. Her love and purpose are in the sharing of her passion. She lives
with her husband, Dan, and a steady stream of grown children through
their Lake Retreat home in the foothills of the Cascades in Western
Washington.
Dan
Drllevich
Dan
Drllevich expressed his talent for building designs in nature as a small child
building rock walls from stones on the waterfront and creating designs
on the back of napkins. Described by his wife, Jill, as a combination
of a “Junkyard Warrior” and “McGyver,” Dan specializes
in creating whatever the client wants from recycled, reclaimed and imaginative
materials. The owner/manager of Millworks, Dan brings ideas to fruition
within the limits of the clients budget and only slightly beyond their
comfort level. A strength of Dan’s is his ability to coordinate
and play off of other artists to create something beyond anyone’s
imagination, inspiring to both children and adults. Dan attended Washington
State University in Interior design and lives with his wife Jill and
extended family in Ravensdale, WA. Featherstone is Dan’s grandmother’s
maiden name.
